This is my second gunpla, a 1/100 HG Wing Zero, this time around I started experimenting with paint, and with a Sign Pen for the inking. Sign pens don't dry up easily for model kits, so I used a hair dryer so that they'd dry up easily (which was a baaaaaaaaaaaaad idea, since I ended up melting the face and a part of its knee caps).. Didn't have an airbrush so i just used Parlux spray paint I found at a local hardware store for the black and gold colors. I chose the color black and Gold because I was practicing for my MG Strike Freedom (which until now, has not been finished because I have found putting on decals to be quite a tedious job :p)
Still used scissors and nail clippers for this one, I think I'll stick with those tools all the way :P.. no problem with them so far..

please try to remove the seamline
ReplyDeletethat's the one between the plastic parts right?
ReplyDeleteI like your paint job! The colour scheme is very interesting too! For panel lining, have you considered doing a panel line wash instead?
